Process and start-up

How to launch a project, in what order, with what deliverables.

How does a first contact with WebNest go?
A 30-minute video call, with no commitment. You explain your project, I tell you what is feasible, within what timeframe and according to which approach. At the end of the call, you know if we are meant to work together. No sales follow-up afterwards.
Do I need to have a sitemap to contact you?
No. If you come with a sitemap, we save time. If you don't have one, we co-create the brief during the video call, it's included. However,no quote without a clear framework— this ensures we start on the right foundations and there are no surprises.
How long between signing and starting?
On average, within 5 working days. We schedule a start date together as soon as you sign so you know exactly when development begins.
How long does a showcase site take? An e-commerce site?
Odoo showcase site: between5 and 10 working daysdepending on the number of pages and custom templates. E-commerce:2 to 4 weeksdepending on the connected modules (payment, stock, delivery). Custom project: based on specifications.
What types of businesses do you work with?
From local merchants to established SMEs. The only criterion: having an Odoo in place or planned. We do not create sites on other CMS, which allows us to excel on this one.

Pricing and quotes

How we price, what is included, how it is paid.

How is a WebNest quote established?
Based on the sitemap and the features validated in the brief. Detailed quote line by line, excluding VAT. You know exactly what is being charged and why. No vague lines, no hidden lines.
Is there a minimum amount to start a project?
Yes,€1,000 excluding VAT for any project.. Below that, acquisition costs more than the service, we prefer to do it well rather than quickly.
How is the payment made?
Deposit of40% upon signingwhich triggers the start of the project. The balance is due upon delivery. No hidden monthly payments, no commitment to duration.
Do you take a margin on external providers?
No, never. If you need a photographer, a copywriter, or an illustrator, we connect you and you pay the provider directly at their rate. We gain nothing by overcharging.
Do you work with partners (agencies, freelancers)?
Yes, many. If you come with a project already framed (sitemap, features, identity), you benefit from apartner rate.You bill your end client, we deliver the front.

Technical and Odoo

Stack, integration, code, access, multilingual.

What stack do you actually use?
Native HTML, CSS, and JSin the Odoo web module. No heavy framework, no proprietary overlay. QWeb for templates, Odoo snippets for modularity, custom CSS animations. This is what makes the code readable and maintainable by any Odoo developer.
Do you need access to my Odoo?
Yes, with thedesign and developer rights.This allows coding directly in your Odoo, ensuring total transparency and producing clean code that can be maintained by any Odoo developer after us.
Do you create Odoo websites in multiple languages?
Yes, the site can be translated into any language. In the WebNest team, we speak FR, NL, and EN, but the Odoo Website Multi-language module handles multilingualism natively, and we integrate it neatly into your site according to your needs. Hreflang, multi-language SEO meta tags, and i18n structure included. The content of the translations remains your responsibility or can be handled by an external copywriter.
Do you manage SEO optimisation?
Yes: semantic tags, Open Graph, Schema.org JSON-LD, sitemap.xml, robots.txt, alt on all images, loading speed (aiming for Lighthouse 90+). We do not provide in-depth SEO services (keywords, backlinks) but we deliver a clean technical foundation.
Will another developer be able to take over the code?
Absolutely. Everything is coded directly in your Odoo, so everything belongs to you from the first line. The code is readable, commented, and has no external dependencies.If you change agencies one day, any Odoo developer can take over from us.
Do you have a staging environment?
No need. As we work in YOUR Odoo, you see the progress in real-time on your actual URL, 24/7. The Odoo editor views allow testing before pushing to production. No migration, no stressful "going live".

After delivery

Training, modifications, maintenance, autonomy.

Can I modify my content after delivery?
Yes. A1-hour training session via video callis included with the delivery. You will learn exactly how to edit texts, images, and blocks independently. Documentation of the editable areas will be provided at the end.
Is there a mandatory maintenance subscription?
No. No forced monthly payments. You pay for the service, and you leave with the site. If later you want to add a page, tweak a design, or evolve, we can start again — on a quote, with no obligation.
And what if I need a new template or a new page?
We will provide a quote. Small adjustments are charged by the hour, larger projects are fixed price. Quote within 48 hours. Our code remains consistent with what we delivered the first time.
Do you manage domain renewal and Odoo hosting?
No, it isOdoo that manages that directlythrough your Odoo Online subscription or your Odoo.sh hosting. We remain your design and front-end contact, that's all.
If I encounter a bug after delivery, will you fix it?
Yes, free of charge, within a30-day windowafter delivery for anything related to the front-end we delivered. Beyond that, we charge for the intervention at the hourly rate.

Special cases

Remote work, emergencies, redesign, and other scenarios.

Can we work remotely, or do we need to be in Brussels?
100% remote. Everything is done via video, email, and Odoo itself. We collaborate with clients in Belgium, France, Luxembourg, and further afield without compromising the quality of our support. A physical meeting is possible in Brussels if you prefer.
Do you take urgent projects (within 5 days)?
Depending on availability. Possible for a simple showcase site if we have your content ready. Impossible for an e-commerce site or a custom project: quality takes time.
Do you do redesigns of existing Odoo sites?
Yes, it actually makes up 40% of our business. We audit your current Odoo, identify what works, what needs to be rewritten, and we redo it properly. Existing content can be migrated or rewritten according to your choice.
Do you work with non-Odoo sites (WordPress, Wix, etc.)?
No, never. WebNest is100% specialised in Odoo, it's our profession. If you are on WordPress, either you migrate to Odoo (and we support you), or we direct you to a WordPress agency we trust.
How do I know if Odoo is the right choice for my project?
We discuss it for 30 minutes via video. If Odoo is not the right solution for you, we will tell you frankly and guide you. No hard selling — the goal is for you to have the right tool.
