The website of a premium fry shop, born with it.

La Friterie de l'Alliance, in Braine-l'Alleud, opened its doors with no web presence at all. WebNest built everything: an identity that breaks the fry-shop codes, a clear menu for local food lovers, and a form that pre-qualifies event requests for a quick quote. Private customers and B2B, from day one.

The client

La Friterie de l'Alliance is a premium fry shop in Braine-l'Alleud.

On paper a fry shop, in practice refined dining: 100% fresh beef minced daily by Boucherie Chez Bernard, buns delivered in the early morning, fries cooked in beef fat, fifteen homemade sauces. An address for local food lovers as much as for events.

The challenge

The starting point.

Opening a fry shop is one thing. Making it exist online on opening day is another.

La Friterie de l'Alliance started with a real premium ambition and a completely blank digital page: no site, no online menu, no way to capture a request. Everything to build, then, and for two audiences at once: the local food lovers and the event requests.

Key objectives
Create a brand, not a generic fry-shop site
Make private customers hungry with a clear menu
Open a B2B channel that pre-qualifies requests
The solution

Our approach.

UX / Design

We immediately set aside the standard Odoo theme and the generic fry-shop site. The direction: an identity that breaks the sector's codes, deep black background, golden-yellow accents, editorial typography that gives weight to every dish. The fry shop names its partners, the local butcher and bakery: we gave them a real place on the site, as proof of quality and a mark of respect for the artisans.

Technical

Everything is hand-coded in QWeb, in Odoo. The same technical choice that lets us craft the design also lets us connect the forms to the CRM without an external connector, and lay clean foundations that grow with the brand, without technical debt. It's our approach on every Odoo showcase site.

Custom-built

Two concrete levers. A menu structured into five categories, a page per product, prices shown, designed for the private customer who decides in ten seconds. And an event-quote form connected to the CRM: rather than a « contact us », it collects everything needed (event type, date, number of people, formula) so the request arrives pre-qualified. The team prices it up without back-and-forth.

Le projet en bref

What WebNest delivered.

La Friterie de l'Alliance now has a showcase worthy of its plate. The brand stands out clearly from the standard fry-shop site, the menu is readable for private customers, and the B2B channel finally exists, with requests arriving ready to be priced. All backed by social proof put forward rather than hidden: 5.0 out of 5 on Google.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions.

Why not use a ready-made fry-shop site theme?
Because a generic theme looks like all the others. For La Friterie de l'Alliance, we hand-coded an identity — black and golden yellow, editorial type — that breaks the codes and inspires trust from the homepage.
Can event (B2B) requests be handled from the site?
Yes. We designed a quote form that collects everything needed up front — event type, date, number of people, formula — and sends it pre-qualified into the Odoo CRM. The team prices it up without back-and-forth.
Is the menu easy to update?
Yes. The menu is structured into clear categories, a page per product with the price, and everything is managed from Odoo, without touching the code.
Can forms be connected to a CRM without an external tool?
Yes. Because the site is hand-coded in Odoo, the forms connect directly to the CRM, with no third-party connector. Requests arrive in the right place, ready to handle.
